I’m excited to announce that Christian apparel company Soul Certified has just launched, and I’m super proud to say that they’re opening with two of the designs I did for them. So what are you waiting for? Go check ‘em out and get yourself a great looking, super comfy, uplifting shirt.

Quarterly Review 12.1

Thought I’d share some news from the first quarter of 2012. Though it’s been from January - March, most of these developments have come just this month.

I’ll be making some vintage t-shirt designs for Ants Colony, the first of which you can see over at my Dribbble page - http://drbl.in/dxwk Don’t yet have details about when it will be up for purchase, but I’ll definitely spread the word when it’s available to buy.

The fine folks behind Take Away Gourmet, a healthy food catering service located in Corpus Christi, Texas, brought me on board to do a complete (re-)branding of their identity. Really stoked about the direction this project is going. You can see a quick spruce up of their current logo I did here, but that’s all you’ll get to see for now - and know that this probably won’t be where we’re headed.

I’ll also be doing some design work for Bay Area Fellowship, a church located in Texas.

And I’m really pleased to let you know that I’ll be teaming up with SocialPakt for a special and meaningful collaboration. I’ll give more details when everything’s finalized.

Finally, I’ll be working under an art director for Re: Magazine to do some editorial stuff like page layout, etc.

I’m super excited to see what the rest of 2012 brings, and thankful to God for bringing me all these opportunities so far.

Tints & Shades: Process

This was a project for my Color Theory class. The purpose of the project was to explore tints and shades, and their emotional impact on the viewer. I’ve always been absolutely mesmerized by the famous DKNG process videos and ever since I’ve watched the first one several months ago I’ve wanted to make my own (though it falls fall short of DKNG’s work)

Enjoy.
